Oysters, Oysters Everywhere

Big J and our host had a discussion in the morning about dinner and they decided on raw and barbecued (steamed) oysters. What a great choice, especially since oysters were $2.99 a dozen. If Big J and I lived there we might have oysters every night.

The dinner was easy and superb: raw oysters with That Girl's cocktail sauce, steamed oysters, grilled green beans and asparagus, garlic bread and coleslaw. Added to that a couple bottles of Virginia wine (Viognier and Cabernet Franc). Very good. But the company was even better.
