It is not uncommon for us to go out to pizza on Friday nights and in C'ville there is no better place than the downtown mall for Christian's Pizza. They sell pizza by the slice and one slice is generally enough, well sometimes you need two. We all seem to have our favorites: little j loves the cheese; Big J generally chooses something with meat, this time it was sausage and pepperoni; and I generally choose the roasted vegetable (red peppers, eggplant, olives, tomatoes, and lots of garlic) although tonight I chose the classic tomato, basil and mozzarella. The slices were accompanied by lemonade for little j and the local Star Hill Jomo for Big J and I.
After dinner we walked down the mall in the chilly winter air to Spendora's Gelato. Part of the joy of gelato is tasting all the flavors and making a decision. Tonight little j chose rose and mango, while Big J and I shared cappuccino chip and dulce le leche.
