Dinner with the Senior Set

Admittedly we eat dinner fairly early. I generally try to shoot for dinner on the table by 6:15. Tonight we walked into the restaurant at 5:15. Holy cow! The bonus was that we made it in time for happy hour; Big J and I doubled the amount of wine we drank for zero more dollars. Can't beat that. Then, of course, we went the cheap route, or, as I like to refer to it, the regular-sized-portion route. As I mentioned before, every time we go out to eat and order separate dishes we just have way too much food. At home it isn't so much of a problem because we take leftovers home and have them for lunches, but when you are traveling it is a little difficult.

We ate dinner at Carrabba's Italian Grill. It was okay, nothing spectacular, but we left satisfied: little j had her Italian stand-by (spaghetti with olive oil) and Big J and I shared the Sirloin Marsala with a side of green beans and starters of Cesar salad.

Reason for the early dinner? The Spectro Magic Parade and Fireworks over Cinderella's Castle at the Magic Kingdom. A definite can't miss!
