Pasta Fail

I know, I don't often write about my failures, but I probably should. At least to remind myself that all is not yummy in the world!

Last night I made Pasta with Cherry Tomatoes, Basil, Lemon, and Clams. Yeah, not so great. I will admit that I didn't use as much lemon juice as it called for. But that was mainly because I knew Big J wouldn't like it. Well, it wouldn't have mattered, because he didn't really like it anyway.

I can't really say exactly what the problem was, but there was really no flavor. Perhaps it was because I used whole wheat pasta. But I don't think so. I don't know. It just wasn't that great. And frankly, I don't even think I want to spend the time making it better. That really says it all.
