Waffle Hyperbole

little j and I decided to make waffles tonight. I'm always on the search for a good waffle recipe and I came across the recipe for Waffle of Insane Greatness on the Food Network site. I remember watching that particular episode and there were very positive reviews so I decided to try it out.

While I cooked the waffles, little j prepped the fruit. I peeled and cut a mango off the pit and then little j cit it into chunks, and washed and trimmed up the strawberries and set the table.

The waffles were not, as titled, insanely great. The were good. But I will definitely try them again. However, little j said she preferred them without syrup, so maybe they just weren't quite up to my high standards because they certainly met hers.
