Mom and Daughter Dinner Out

Big J was out of town and little j and I decided to do a little shopping after school. So we went to the mall then we went to Wood Grill Buffet. Yes, yes we did. A buffet. Normally it's not something I condone, but with a five-year old it increases both the options and the happiness. The nice thing is, at this particular place, they have a lot of healthy options. I had a very small steak, green salad and vegetables. little j had friend chicken leg, macaroni and cheese, carrots and cherry tomatoes. Well, maybe not completely healthy, but we both know when to stop. Plus we had really great dinner conversation!
