Another Birthday Dinner -- This Time Not Ours

After last night's dinner a night away from the stove was welcome. We had two birthday parties, one for our friends' son who was turning 1 and one for another friends' daughter who will be 3. Not only did we not have to make dinner, we didn't have to worry about lunch. Both were very good: Italian lunch and Mexican "taco bar" for dinner. Plus cake twice in one day. Who can complain about that?
